Carbon Steel Pin – Hardened Carbon Steel Pin provides extra barrier resistance.
Plastic Coated – Polycarbonate plastic coating to protect the pin against the elements.
Dual Numbering – Identical serial numbers on both the Nut and Pin prevents tampering by switching out the pin.
Anti-Spin Feature – Prevents tampering by spinning the pin at high speed which will result in pin releasing from the locking chamber.
Anti-Cut Feature – Prevents tampering by cutting the pin close to the locking chamber and hiding the cut in the locking chamber.
Unique Numbering – Unique sequential serial number with extra area for printing of logos or text.
Easy Application – The Bolt can easily be applied by hand.

The type of seal you need depends on the application and requirement. Per above example, while most bolt seals meet C-TPAT certification standards for international shipping, only specific cable seals meet those certification standards.

Bolt Seal I meets C-TPAT certification standards and is classified as a High Security seal, with a break strength of 1750KGs. It also has a metal anti spin feature. This is designed to deter a specific type of tampering.

on Bolt Seals, under reference (a) to the requirements of reference (c).

The testing and results contained in this report are in accordance with the testing requirements called

out in ISO 17712:2013 and are only applicable to the samples as received and to the specific units

identified in the test report and do not address any individual manufacturer's compliance or non

compliance with all the requirements of ISO 17712:2013 which are the sole responsibility of each

manufacturer and not part of the testing performed and recorded in this test report.

The above listed tests were completed with no discrepancies noted. Refer to Test Report No.418719-02-04-R23-0104 for complete details. As per ISO 17712:2013(E) Clause 5.1.2,''Testing is to be done once every two years". Therefore, this report expires 2 years from the test completion date. The test results recorded in this report apply only to the samples as received and relate only to those items tested. This report shall not be reproduced, except in full, without the written approval of Dayton T. Brown, Inc.
