Security Seal
These seals are typically either adjustable pull-through seals or fixed-length seals. Depending on the type of plastic and the strength of the seal, they can often be broken by hand.
The inherent weakness of a pull-through seal (with a notched or smooth strap) is that it can be sealed and, if not pulled through completely, may be cut or broken in the loop and then re-sealed. Therefore, users must ensure that the seals are properly applied and thoroughly inspected before authorized removal is attempted.

Plastic indicative seals are generally made from oil-based plastics, such as PP (polypropylene) or PA (polyamide), which are resistant to gluing attempts. Many of ICS's products feature an insert in the locking chamber made from hardened plastic, thereby increasing tamper resistance. For enhanced security, some options offer a metal insert in the locking chamber.
