These single-use security seals feature a metal cable that passes through a latch on shipping containers, trailers, cargo holds, and trucks, locking when pulled back through the pawl. A tool is required to remove the seal, and once cut, it splits into individual strands that cannot be resealed, providing both physical security and tamper evidence. Cable seals are commonly used in industries such as transportation, pharmaceuticals, cash transit, air freight, and food.
Adjustable-length cable seals can be set to any desired length and locked in place, offering a better fit than fixed-length cable locks. They provide both physical security and tamper evidence for shipping containers, trailers, cargo holds, and trucks.

how to prevent the opening of cable seals
For high-security cable seals, the principles are the same: they use a wire in the lock body that allows one-way passage to achieve the locking purpose. If the wire and gear can be inserted through a small piece of metal or between the wire and the mechanism, the wire can be pulled out of the lock body.
To prevent this method of tampering, we recommend the following two approaches for our users:
Minimize the locking space between the lock body and the wire. In other words, pull the wire as tightly as possible after it passes through the keyhole of the locked object. This reduces the space between the wire and the lock body, leaving no room for a thief to insert a tampering tool.
After the seal is locked, cut off the excess wire using wire cutters. The wire we use is an explosive wire, which means it will automatically disperse after being cut. This ensures that even if a thief tries to insert a tool into the lock body, the wire cannot be pulled out.
