Silicone sealing strip has excellent heat resistance, low-temperature elasticity, especially excellent oxidation and ozone resistance, high air permeability and selectivity for gas transmission. Good electrical insulation performance (volume resistance greater than 10 Ω. Cm, breakdown voltage above 30KV / mm), corona resistance and arc resistance. However, proper conductivity can be obtained by adding conductive carbon black, nickel powder, aluminum powder and silver powder (volume resistance can be up to 5-0.02 Ω. Cm). The surface energy of silicon rubber ring is low, it has hygroscopicity and can play an isolation role. Water resistance, but poor water vapor resistance. It is not recommended to use when the pressure exceeds 50psi. Compatible with most oils, chemicals and solvents. Generally, silicone rubber has good acid-base resistance, acceptable resistance to polar solvents, and is not resistant to alkane hydrogen and aromatic oils. It is not recommended to use in most concentrated solvents, oil products, concentrated acids and diluted caustic soda solutions. The special silicone strip also has the properties of radiation resistance, flame resistance, oil resistance and so on. It has low tensile strength and weak wear resistance. It is generally not used for dynamic sealing.
The temperature range is - 60 ℃ ~ 225 ℃, the high temperature of special silicone rubber can reach 300 ℃, and the low temperature can reach - 100 ℃. (tr10 can be at - 100 ℃)
