Plastic indicator seals, 2 types: (1) Pull-through seal seals through a locking chamber and gradually tightens, suitable for sealing mail bags and cash bags; (2) Fixed length seal forms a fixed ring, suitable for Over-tightening may result in accidental breakage during transport (e.g. trailer hitches). Security padlock seals are fixed length seals, smaller in size, suitable for sealing small enclosures such as trolley holes, first aid and other equipment kits, security bag zippers, etc. They seal and break easily by hand, making them quick and easy to use. Bolted safety seals provide barrier control for containers. They consist of corresponding cylinders and pins with repeating numbers, sealed together and requiring bolt cutters to remove. They must meet ISO17712 high security standards and be suitable for cross-border customs movement.

Metal Cable Seals are robust barrier seals and their heavier size options (Flexigrip 325M and Flexigrip 500M) also carry ISO17712 "High Security" customs transport approval. The flexible cable can be used flexibly to seal around the buckle and vertical locking bar for added security. Metal strip seals are a useful alternative between plastic indicator seals and heavy duty cable and bolt seals - they offer higher tensile strength between 50KgF - 100KgF compared to plastic seals but are not as durable as cable and bolt seals The most cost-effective compared to parts. Their thin strips make them ideal for sealing small holes, such as TIR lines and rail cars. Meter Wire Seals are products suitable for sealing utility (gas and electric) and taxi meters. They range from simple plastic and metal seals that can be crimped onto the sealing wire with pliers to more complex self-locking seals with internal mechanisms. Wire seals are made from narrow gauge wire and can pass through meters of small apertures (<1mm).

Suitcase Stopper Seal is a specific type of fixed length seal designed to securely seal the lid of an Attached Lid Container (ALC). Plug seals seal flush to the lid, making stacking the suitcases easier, and can also be produced with matching numbers to seal both ends of the crate with the same security number. Security labels and tapes are their own category of security seals that work based on tamper-resistant films and adhesive properties rather than through mechanical tamper resistance. By their nature, they are suitable for sealing flat surfaces such as seams and edges of cartons and pallets. Electronic seals are a subset of security seals that use electronic sensors to detect tamper-evident status. They are typically reusable seals, have a high initial cost, and require thousands of uses.
